How to update
This is how to update the firmware of your Tubbutec Controller. Below you will find the various firmwares available.
Enter the bootloader
- Press and hold the CONF and SEND ALL buttons while inserting the USB-C cable into a computer.
- All LEDs will light up in blue to indicate the bootloader.
- On the computer, a new drive will appear ‘TT Updater’. You will see the following files:
- INDEX.HTM: Click this and you will be redirected to tubbutec.de
- README.TXT: Info about the bootloader and quick updating instructions
- VERSION.TXT: Information about the currently installed firmware
Start the update
To update your controller, just move or copy the .u2f firmware file into the ‘TT Updater’ drive. This should only take a second. When successful, the drive will be removed and the controller will start with the new firmware installed.
Note: Currently, the VERSION.TXT file will only update after you enter and exit the conf menu on the controller. This will be fixed eventually.
Note: for the update to work, drive encryption (for example Windows Device Encryption) needs to be turned off.
