How to connect

Just connect the MIDI output of the controller to your MC-202. Adapters form TRS-A to DIN-MIDI are included with the controller.
Additionally, you can connect other MIDI devices to the controller via the MIDI input or via USB. MIDI messages coming into the controller are forwarded to the MC-202.
It is also possible to use the controller for other purposes, such as controlling VST plugins. In order to do that, just connect it to your computer via MIDI, or via USB-MIDI.

Visualizing parameter changes

When receiving data from the controller, MC-2oh2 can show the currently changing value on its display. To turn on this feature, go the MC-2oh2 configuration menu and select
Misc->Display->Overlay timeout.
Here, you can set the number of seconds the value is shown, or turn this feature off.

Selecting VCF or PW control

VCF and PW LFO and envelopes share the same faders and can be accessed by the VCF or PW layer buttons on the right.

FAQ

Q: Given that the synthesisers all use DIN MIDI sockets, why did you design the controllers with TRS sockets and include adapters to DIN MIDI?
A: This was a hard decision – we prefer DIN MIDI ourselves. However, using DIN sockets would have meant a substantial increase in the case dimensions – both in width and height. We believe that the solution we have now is much more elegant and flexible.
