Bundle including the Plasma Music SDSM faceplate and mounted uniPulse interface.
SDSM is a replacement faceplate / bracket assembly for the Simmons SDSV that offers easy mounting of the Tubbutec uniPulse MIDI to trigger interface. The only prerequisite required is that your SDSV has a spare module slot.
Available in two version, SDSM will offer everything that’s required for most Simmons SDSVs. For those user who are lucky enough to own an original Simmons hi-hat pedal however, SDSM HH has an additional toggle switch which allows the open / closed hi-hat function to be controlled either by the original Simmons hi-hat pedal, or MIDI.
Although all the LEDs on the Simmons SDSV are red, SDSM is available with either a red or a green MIDI activity LED.
SDSM is made locally in the United Kingdom. In fact, it’s made a few miles away from the old Simmons factory in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.
