How to update

USB bridge can be updated using a USB flash drive. We tested this with many differrent USB drives. It works with most, but generally older drives have a greater success of working. USB3.0 drives may not work.

1. Make sure your USB drive us formatted with FAT16 or FAT32. NTFS will not work.
2. Download the firmware file, unzip it and put it on the USB drive. Put it in the root directory (do not create a directory named ‘root’, just copy it to the drive)
3. Unmount the drive
4. Turn OFF (or unplug) USB Bridge
5. Put the USB drive into USB-2 (the lower of the USB sockets).
6. Turn on the module
7. The TRS LED will start blinking to indicate firmware update
8. When the update is finished (just a few seconds), the main program will boot. You can see the TRS LED lighting up in blue and most likely the USB LED in red (because a USB drive is not a USB-midi interface)
9. Unplug the USB drive and have fun
