Just attempted to update my 10h1 for the first time since i bought a new computer but the updater wont load at all

Im running 2012 Mac Pro OSX Sierra

Is your updater compatible with OSX Sierra?

Also, when updating firmware, can i go straight to the newest option or do i haver to install all chronologically?

Hi,

no idea if it is compatible with Sierra. I don’t own a max personally so it is very difficult to check it for every new osx version.

Which error message do you get when starting the app?

Yes, just update to the newest version.

Im getting a simple ‘Software cant be opened’ message
please see the image showing the opened folder and the subsequent message

No luck sadly, i think it must not be compatible with Sierra as the files don’t read as they normally do. Will have to borrow another computer and try again
