Juno 66 Midi ports & Panel??

I bought and have installed the Juno-66 mod on my Juno 60. I am almost
entirely finished with the installation. It would appear that I will
have to desolder all of the wires on the midi ports in order to mount
them in the panel that you sold to me. Is this the intended
installation process or am I missing something?

Hi,

no desoldering is necessary. You are meant to install the sockets from
behind the panel. See this picture here:
